Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital has received a ‘Good’ rating in its latest inspection results announced by Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Basingstoke MP, Maria Miller, said: “I am pleased to see the results of the latest report from the CQC. In spite of all the challenges thrown at the NHS throughout the last 2 years of the pandemic, our local NHS Trust has continued to deliver high quality services to the people of the Basingstoke. We know that Basingstoke Hospital faces challenges with regard to a home for its long-term future, and last week’s CQC report into maternity services showed that there are specific issues where improvements can be made. But in the meantime it is most reassuring to be reminded that the overall health provision remains good. This is undoubtedly in large part due to the incredibly hard work of our fantastic team of hospital staff.
"I want to thank all our local NHS staff for their dedication a diligence in the face of such adversity. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their service on the frontline.”
