Basingstoke MP Maria Miller called in at Basingstoke Hospital for one of her regular meetings with Chief Executive Alex Whitfield, and was also pleased to meet the new Chair of the North Hampshire Hospitals Trust, Steve Erskine.
Maria said: “It’s important to get regular updates on how the Hospital is performing, particularly during the challenging winter months. I was pleased to hear that improvements in facilities in the Emergency Department, made possible by extra funding of £4 million, are now starting to have a positive impact on performance and waiting times.”
