Basingstoke’s MP, Maria Miller visited ThermoFisher Scientific following their recent expansion at their Basingstoke plant.
Maria said, “It was great to visit ThermoFisher Scientific and take a tour of their recently expanded manufacturing facility, which received a £35 million investment in 2023.
“ThermoFisher are one of Basingstoke’s largest employers, and their recent expansion proves that Basingstoke is a hub for industries of the future such as Technology and Life Sciences, attracting more high-skilled jobs.
“Basingstoke is a great place to live, work and invest and it was good to visit yet another local business that has chosen to invest in Basingstoke because of our strong, vibrant economy.
